Cookie Policy

Every cookie and storage key this site uses, listed individually. All of them are strictly necessary, and none appear unless you do something that needs them.

01The short version

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site profiling of any kind. We have no relationship with an ad network.

If you read this site and do nothing else, nothing is stored on your device at all. The few things listed below only appear when you do something that needs them: put an item in your bag, post to an event board, play a video, or log in as staff.

That is why there is no cookie banner. Under Singapore's PDPA and the ePrivacy rules that cover the UK and EEA, consent is needed for cookies that are not strictly necessary for a service you asked for. We do not set any.

03What we set, and when

NameTypeWhat it doesHow long
wwb-bagLocal storageRemembers what is in your shopping bag so it survives a refresh. It holds the item and the size only — never a price, which is always worked out on our serverUntil you clear it or complete the order
wwb-noteboard-nameLocal storageRemembers the display name you chose at an event board, so you do not retype it for every postUntil you clear your browser data
wwb-noteboard-qr:…Local storageRemembers whether you hid the QR code on a board you are presentingUntil you clear your browser data
Session cookieCookieKeeps a member of WWB staff signed in to the studio. Only ever set after a successful login — a visitor never receives oneUntil sign-out, or expiry

Strictly necessary, all of them: each exists to deliver something you have actively asked for, and the site cannot do that thing without it.

Signed-in staff are also given a small amount of working state for the studio itself. It never applies to visitors and holds nothing about you.

04Cookies set by other companies

Two things on this site are served by someone else, and both can set their own cookies once they load. Neither loads on an ordinary page view.

  • YouTube. Our video player is a YouTube embed and only loads once you click a video. At that point Google may set cookies on your device under its own terms. We use YouTube's no-cookie player domain, which holds those cookies back until playback actually begins. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Map tiles. Our map pages load map imagery from CARTO and OpenStreetMap. Loading an image from another company reveals your IP address to it, in the same way loading any image on the web does. See the CARTO and OpenStreetMap privacy policies.

If a payment gateway is switched on for checkout, HitPay or Stripe will set cookies needed to take your payment securely and to detect fraud. That happens on their payment page, under their terms.

05How we measure traffic

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are read and where readers arrive from. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, assigns you no identifier and cannot follow you across visits or to any other website.

We get counts — this page was read this many times — and nothing that identifies a person. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any other advertising analytics.

06Turning them off

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear site data. In Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge it sits under Settings → Privacy. You can also browse in a private window, which discards everything when you close it.

Because everything we set is strictly necessary, blocking it will break the thing it was for rather than improve your privacy: your bag will empty on every page change, and staff will not be able to stay signed in. Reading the site is unaffected.

To stop the YouTube cookies entirely, do not play a video. To stop the map requests, do not open a map page.

07Changes

If we add anything that stores data on your device, it goes in the table above and the date at the top moves. If we ever add something that is not strictly necessary, we will ask you first.
